San Diego-based Industrial Medical Centers has rejected an acquisition bid previously announced by ReadiCare. The bid “did not appear to be in the best interest of (IMC’s) shareholders or clients,” according to IMC President Leonard M. Okun.
ReadiCare signed a letter of intent to acquire IMC on March 8. IMC, formed 10 years ago, provides occupational and industrial medical services in San Diego. The company “plans to continue its efforts in this direction for many years to come,” according to Okun.
