ST. PAUL, Minn. — Authorities on Thursday were looking for a toothless prisoner who escaped while he was at a hospital dental clinic.
Edward Lee Dugan, convicted of mail fraud and narcotics charges, fled the St. Paul-Ramsey Medical Center on Wednesday with a companion who was carrying a gun, authorities said. They said the 34-year-old inmate left his false teeth behind.
Dugan had been in the Ramsey County Adult Detention Center since March 22. He went to the clinic to pick up his dentures, which were being repaired.
