Psychology Pioneer OK After Surgery on Head

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Psychologist, author and teacher B. F. Skinner, who fell in his kitchen before Christmas, said he is doing fine after an operation for a head injury suffered in the accident.
“It’s not a news story at all,” Skinner, 84, who was injured Dec. 20, said Thursday. “I just slipped and fell and had a slight concussion.”
Skinner, a pioneer in behavioral psychology at Harvard University, said he underwent an operation four weeks ago to relieve pressure from the head injury and was released from the hospital two weeks later.
