THE PREPS : 16 Tennis Teams to Compete Today

The fourth Canyon High School team challenge tennis tournament will take place today starting at 8 a.m. at three sites.
The 16-team tournament will be held at Canyon and Esperanza high schools and Fullerton College. The semifinals (2:30 p.m.) and finals (3:30 p.m.) will be at Fullerton. Winners of four round-robin brackets advance to the semifinals.
The opening-round brackets:
At Canyon--La Quinta, Servite, Diamond Bar, El Dorado.
At Esperanza--Esperanza, Mater Dei, Valencia, Villa Park.
At Fullerton College (bracket 1)--Keppel, Los Alamitos, El Toro, Santa Ana.
At Fullerton College (bracket 2)--Nogales, Canyon, Los Amigos, Mission Viejo.
