TODAY ‘Long Live the Lady’ Italy, 1987, 115 minutes , 8 p.m . Ermanno Olmi, that often luminous poet of poverty, here has fun at the upper classes’ expense. In a sprawling castle, lower-class student waiters assemble for a grand banquet of the business and banking elite, which quickly degenerates into monstrous, straight-faced farce. A delightfully orchestrated, deliciously pitched ensemble film, full of grotesque but convincing details. RECOMMENDED.
