Safeguard Health Enterprises, a provider of fixed-fee dental care plans, posted 1987 net income of $2.9 million, contrasted with a net loss of $1.1 million for 1986. Revenue for 1987 was $70.3 million, up 14% from 1986 revenue of $61.8 million. Net income for the fourth quarter was $771,000, contrasted with a net loss of $2.4 million a year ago. Revenue increased 17%, to $18.4 million from $15.7 million for the comparable 1986 period.
