Michael Nunn, 25, a North Hollywood middleweight boxer, is being investigated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department after having been identified as a key figure in a Universal City restaurant brawl two weeks ago.

“Several victims involved have pointed out Michael Nunn,” said Dave Clark, a detective at the West Hollywood Station. “But I haven’t talked to Nunn yet to get the other side.”

Restaurant security guard Jon Fleming suffered bruised ribs and a bruised jaw, doorman James Varnum a broken nose, and four other employees various injuries, the most serious being a broken jaw, in the fight March 31.
