British Airways wants to fly the supersonic Concorde to Atlanta as part of its regularly scheduled service. “I can’t tell you when because I would then be in the position of asking permission to do it. It will happen, but you won’t know it because it will drive in quietly,” British Airways Chairman Lord John King told a British American Business Group. “The plan would be to link (Atlanta) up with the Washington service.” The tentative plan calls for three Concorde flights a week from London to Washington to Atlanta.
