Local News in Brief : Countywide : Push of the Buttons Gives You OCTD Data

Beginning Saturday, the Orange County Transit District will have a new message on its (714) 636-RIDE bus information line--a shortcut for callers using a push-button telephone.
At any time during the recorded message, callers can push the number for information on specific services they are seeking. Callers using a rotary-dial telephone will get an operator on the line at the end of the recorded message.
For bus schedules, push 10. Push 11 for dial-a-ride service, 12 for complaints and lost and found, and 13 for van-pool information.
