American Mobile Systems Posts Loss of $1.4 Million

American Mobile Systems said it lost $1.4 million for the third quarter that ended March 31 compared to a $921,000 loss a year before. Revenue was up 19% to $1.8 million from $1.5 million a year ago. The Sherman Oaks mobile radio systems operator blamed its losses in part on increased depreciation and interest expenses.
