NAIA Women’s Tennis : Ainslie of Point Loma Gets First-Round Win

Melinda Ainslie of Point Loma Nazarene College rallied to defeat Robin Fujioka of Hawaii Pacific, 5-7, 6-2, 6-1, Monday in the first round of the NAIA women’s national tennis championships at Overland Park, Kan.
Traci Reynolds of Point Loma lost, 6-1, 6-2, to top-seeded Missy Donald of Flagler College. Donald is the defending champion.
Rain forced several matches indoors and the doubles matches were postponed until today. Ainslie and Reynolds are also competing in doubles.
