Final returns in Idaho’s less-than-suspenseful Republican presidential primary showed that Vice President George Bush took 82% of the vote. In the Democratic “beauty contest,” Dukakis garnered 73% of the vote to 16% for Jackson.
Second among the Republicans with 9% was Pat Robertson, who suspended his campaign earlier this month to rejoin the Christian Broadcasting Network.
