Gerard Falls Behind at U.S. Archery Trials

Janet Gerard of San Diego dropped from sixth to ninth place Monday in the third round of the U.S. Olympic archery trials at Oxford, Ohio.
Gerard shot a score of 1,222 to fall 56 points behind leader Denise Parker with one round remaining. She is 38 points behind the third-place competitor, Debi Ochs.
The top three archers qualify for the Olympic team.
