Austin, Criss Named Angelus League MVPs

Outfielder Jim Austin of Mater Dei High School and catcher Brian Criss of Servite were named most valuable players of the Angelus League in a vote of the league’s baseball coaches.
Austin batted .437 and hit 9 home runs to lead Mater Dei to the league title. Criss batted .430 with 35 runs-batted in for Servite.
