Williams-Sonoma Inc. has named Kent C. Larson president and chief operating officer. Larson, 49, previously was president of the U.S. Foods operations at the Pillsbury Co. Williams-Sonoma, which has headquarters in San Francisco, is a specialty retailer of kitchenware and other products for home and garden.
