Joshuas Parlour in Westminster will be stepping up its major rock offerings starting next week with shows Monday by New York-based hard rockers Smashed Gladys and Thursday by the Tubes. Kenny Kaine, a veteran local rock promoter, recently took over bookings at the 408-capacity club at 7000 Garden Grove Blvd. Kaine said that on July 19 he will launch a regular Tuesday night event, dubbed “Club P.M.S.,” to showcase alternative rock in the KROQ mold. Opening Monday for Smashed Gladys are Steel Master and Nightmare II. Opening Thursday for the Tubes are Avalon and Roulette.
