NEW ORLEANS — The Louisiana Superdome will play host to the Final Four again in 1993, the National Collegiate Athletic Assn.’s basketball committee announced Friday.
New Orleans, site of the 1982 and 1987 Final Four events, was chosen over Seattle, which is to hold the tournament in the Kingdome next spring.
The 1993 Final Four is scheduled April 3-5.
The selection must be approved by the NCAA Executive Committee, which meets next month in Monterey, Calif. That approval is considered routine.
