A 63-year-old man died Thursday when his southbound car went off California 67 and struck a tree, the California Highway Patrol reported.
James Martin Good of El Cajon was pronounced dead at the scene about a quarter of a mile south of Iron Mountain Drive at 11:20 a.m., according to Deputy Coroner Chuck Bolton. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
