Local News in Brief : Garden Grove : Sheriff Requests Help in Finding Missing Man

Sheriff’s investigators are requesting the public’s help in finding a mentally disabled man who wandered away from a Garden Grove care facility more than two months ago.
Alfonso Miranda Torres, 32, has been missing since May 15, Sheriff’s Lt. Richard J. Olson said. Torres has disappeared before, and he was found in the Los Angeles area, Olson said.
Torres is 5 feet, 7 inches tall; weighs 150 pounds, and has brown eyes and short black hair. He has the word Chino tattooed on his upper left arm. He may have trouble communicating his name and age, Olson said.
