An El Cajon couple pleaded guilty Friday to felony child abuse as a result of injuries suffered by their 9-month-old son.
Anne Frances Kindle, 27, and Ray Charles Patterson, 26, will be sentenced Oct. 12.
Their pleas were entered before San Diego Municipal Judge Frederic L. Link just after their case was assigned to him for a preliminary hearing.
Deputy Dist. Atty. Rick Clabby said the baby suffered seven fractures and may have been shaken. The child was admitted to Children’s Hospital April 22, and an investigation led to the arrests of the parents.
They face a maximum sentence of six years in state prison and a $10,000 fine.
