Phoenician Tomb From 6th Century Found Off Sardinia

SANT'ANTIOCO, Sardinia — A Phoenician tomb from the 6th Century BC has been discovered on this island off the southern coast of Sardinia, archeologists say.
The tomb, untouched by grave robbers, was found in the last few days during an excavation in the necropolis of the ancient town of Sulci.
The Phoenicians were an ancient sea-trading people who colonized areas of North Africa as well as southwestern Italy.
