Protype Corp., which pioneered the development of the display typewriter, has named Ronald von Trapp vice president-sales and marketing. He replaces James Healy, who left Protype to pursue other business interests and personal obligations in San Diego. Von Trapp previously was southwest region vice president at NBI.
