The Los Angeles Community College District Board of Trustees on Wednesday selected Los Angeles Pierce College’s vice president of academic affairs to temporarily succeed outgoing college president David Wolf, a district spokesman said.
Jean Loucks will serve as acting president of the Woodland Hills college from Oct. 1 until a permanent replacement is found, said Norman Schneider, district spokesman.
The board on Sept. 14 will begin to discuss creation of a search committee to fill the $70,000-a-year position, he said.
Wolf has resigned to take a job at Santa Rosa Junior College.
