CSUN Soccer Team Bows to Simon Fraser

Cal State Northridge’s soccer team lost to Simon Fraser University of British Columbia, 2-1, in the second round of the Far West Classic at Cal State Chico on Friday afternoon.
Northridge, starting seven freshmen--seniors Steve Lazarus (bruised knee) and Keith Martin (groin) were sidelined because of injuries--took a 1-0 lead on Billy Durkin’s goal four minutes into the match.
Simon Fraser forged a tie eight minutes later, then scored the winning goal 15 minutes into the second half.
