Master’s Runners Post Dual Victories

Rick Battenfield led The Master’s College to a double-dual meet victory over Cal Baptist and Azusa Pacific in an NAIA District III cross-country meet at Master’s on Wednesday.
Master’s defeated Cal Baptist, 15-44, and Azusa Pacific, which only had three runners finish, by forfeit.
Harrison Nguyen of Azusa Pacific won with a time of 16 minutes, 23 seconds on the 3-mile course, but Master’s swept the next four positions, led by Battenfield’s 16:33.
Kelly Sailors of Master’s won the non-scoring women’s race in 20:14.
