The tax evasion and obstruction of justice trial of former Memphis State basketball coach Dana Kirk will likely last more than a month with the government planning to call up to 50 witnesses, a federal prosecutor in Memphis said. Jury selection for the trial began Monday and was set to continue today.
Kirk was indicted on charges of understating his income to the Internal Revenue Service and trying to intimidate grand jury witnesses.
