Colts, Dickerson Seeking First Win

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns (1-1) are at home against the Indianapolis Colts (0-2) beginning at 5 p.m. PDT tonight, with former Ram Eric Dickerson expected to be the mainstay of the visitors’ offense.
“He is a tremendous talent,” Browns Coach Marty Schottenheimer said. “Eric Dickerson, well, it’s like sitting on a keg of dynamite. You hope it doesn’t go off while you’re still around.”
Browns nose tackle Bob Golic believes the Cleveland defense will have to be at its best to handle Indianapolis.
“You can’t go one-on-one with somebody like Eric Dickerson, certainly I can’t,” he said. “We have to play as a unit, and play consistently.
“The fact Indianapolis hasn’t won will make them hungrier. They lost to pretty good teams (Houston and Chicago) and only by three and four points.”
