For Edison Takeover

We’ve been following with interest the discussions regarding Southern California Edison’s attempt to acquire San Diego Gas & Electric. As customers who have experience with both companies, there’s no comparison between the two on service and rates! SDG&E; strikes out on both counts.
SDG&E;’s full-page ad tells us it is better for the customer if Southern California Edison doesn’t take over. We don’t want to be customers of the utility with the second-highest rates in the country and with some of the worst service.
We urge customers/citizens to voice their opinion. Write the Public Utilities Commission--and remember your high rates. And, we can hope that Southern California Edison will continue its attempt to turn SDG&E; into a real public utility!
