St. Francis 18, Saugus 15--Peter Morales recovered a fumble in the end zone in the third quarter as St. Francis held on at College of the Canyons.
Morales also had a team-high 76 yards rushing in 15 carries.
St. Francis quarterback Erik Hagge completed 3 of 8 passes for 40 yards as the Knights were held to 180 total yards.
Saugus, which had 3 turnovers, had 240 yards of total offense. Quarterback George Lopata completed 16 of 31 passes for 183 yards and a touchdown.
Lopata hit Phil Johnson with a 4-yard scoring pass in the fourth quarter to pull Saugus to within 3 points.
