Marley’s Integrity
Thank you, Don Snowden, for your sensitive tribute to reggae king Bob Marley (“Marley’s Ghost,” Oct. 9).
The music of Marley--who was one of the greatest musical and social forces of our generation--spoke eloquently of human rights, love of God and the dignity of all mankind.
It’s not easy to imagine exactly what Marley would be doing if he were alive today, but it is very hard to picture him rewriting “Burnin’ and Lootin’ ” for use in a beer commercial.
