Television is up in the air--literally--in an experiment being carried out by British Airways. In unveiling its new entertainment system Friday, the airline showed off some miniature sets mounted in a Boeing 747 flying from London to New York. The three-inch screens can show six different programming channels, which include feature films, sports (canned, of course), music videos and children’s programming. If the four-month trial is successful, the small sets--installed in the back of each coach seat, facing the passenger in back of it--will be installed on other flights, said airline chief executive Colin Marshall.
