Korn Exits U.N. to Rejoin His Executive Search Firm

Korn/Ferry International has said Ambassador Lester B. Korn, the U.S. representative on the United Nations Economic and Social Council, will rejoin the executive search firm as chairman on Oct. 21.
Korn, 52, who founded the firm with Richard M. Ferry in 1969, left Korn/Ferry 16 months ago to serve at the United Nations. Ferry is president of the firm.
In addition to his role on the Economic and Social Council, Korn was the alternate U.S. delegate to the 42nd and 43rd General Assemblies at the United Nations.
Korn/Ferry has headquarters in Los Angeles and New York.
