Datametrics said it was awarded a $465,000 contract to provide prototypes of its MDR 550 data recorders to the U.S. Air Force.
The Chatsworth company, which also makes printers, plotters and other equipment for military and commercial use, said it expects the Air Force to exercise options to buy production versions of the data recorders over the next two years.
The recorders are to be used at the Warner Robins Air Logistic Center in Georgia.
