The “Falcon Crest” house will be going up in flames on an episode of the show due to air on CBS in mid-November. The episode wrapped production Tuesday with the torching of an exterior mock-up of the show’s Channing/Cumson abode on Lorimar’s back lot. All this is the prime-time soap’s way of dispatching nasty Melissa Cumson (Ana-Alicia, who is leaving the series) into the prime-time soap opera hereafter. Followers of “Falcon Crest” will recall that Melissa gained control of Falcon Crest from Angela Channing (Jane Wyman) last season. Is foul play involved? Stay tuned.
