Tandem Computers Inc.’s 1988 income fell 10% to $94.5 million. Revenue totaled $1.3 billion, up 26% from fiscal 1987. The Cupertino, Calif.-based computer manufacturer said the results reflect the impact of mergers as well as the settlement of a class-action lawsuit reported in the second quarter.
