Kitty Dukakis was released from a Minneapolis hospital on Thursday and left to rejoin her husband on the campaign trail.
The 51-year-old wife of the Democratic presidential nominee had been treated since Monday for a respiratory infection aggravated by a heavy speaking and travel schedule. She was taken off intravenous antibiotics Wednesday and given an oral drug to combat the infection.
