Slide Kills 13 Soviet Hikers

MOSCOW — An avalanche triggered by a heavy snowfall buried hikers camped at the foot of Mt. Medvezhya in the Ural Mountains, killing 13 and injuring one, the official news agency Tass said Thursday.
