L.A. Baptist 22, Maranatha 0--Dan Stepper completed an 8-yard scoring pass to Keith Johnson early in the fourth quarter to complete the Knights’ scoring in a homecoming game at Monroe High.
Johnson caught 4 passes for 43 yards. Colyn VanBuren, who gained a game-high 75 yards in 17 carries, gave the Knights (4-5, 1-3) an early 7-0 lead with a 7-yard scoring run.
