Talinum, ridden by Marco Castaneda and carrying 112 pounds, came on in the stretch and scored a neck victory over Nostalgia’s Star, with Eddie Maple aboard, in the $185,400 Stuyvesant Handicap at Aqueduct in New York.
Talinum, the 4-year-old son of Alydar, covered 1 1/8 miles on a fast track in 1:51 1/5 to record his third win in 11 starts this year.
