Airliner Crashes in Finland; 5 Killed

HELSINKI, Finland — A plane carrying 12 people on a domestic flight crashed in western Finland on Monday, killing five people, an airline official said.
The official of the domestic airline Wasawings said the Brazilian-built Bandeirante turbo-prop plane, flying from Helsinki to Seinajoki, crashed in heavy fog in a forested area while attempting to land at nearby Seinajoki airport.
The official said three of the 10 passengers and both pilots were killed in the crash, 200 miles west of Helsinki.
