RENO — Two men playing Russian roulette while standing next to each other were killed when a single bullet struck both of them in the head, police said Saturday.
Enrique Simental, 37, and Lupe Cardenas, 25, were passing around a partially loaded .357-caliber pistol when one of the men suggested playing a game of Russian roulette early Thursday, Lt. Ron Glensor said.
The man placed the gun against his head and squeezed the trigger. A single bullet passed through his skull and slammed into the head of his friend, who was standing next to him, Glensor said.
