Presidential Election

Dukakis lost the election because he is an arrogant hypocrite, and was found out by the voting majority. His supporters snivel about Bush’s so-called negative campaigning. Hogwash! The negative campaign started when the Democrats in Congress began the attack on Ollie North, Judge Robert Bork and Ed Meese, among others on the Republican side.
The electorate saw through that hypocrisy, and have solidly returned the Republicans to the White House. When the same electorate wakes up to the self-perpetuating, Democratic-gerrymandered House of Representatives, that will be a bright day, indeed.
As a reformed liberal-Democrat (for 10 years) and as an enlightened conservative Republican (for 27 years), I know whereof I speak.
