Culver City : ‘The Nutcracker’ Presented

The city Department of Human Services will co-sponsor the Westside Ballet in two performances of “The Nutcracker” at the Veteran’s Auditorium, 4117 Overland Ave., on Sunday and on Dec. 4 at 1 and 4:30 p.m.
Tickets are $10 and $8 for adults, $5 for children. For reservations and information, call (213) 828-2018 or 202-5689.
After the 4:30 performance on the Sunday, the city will have its annual tree-lighting ceremonies in front of the auditorium. Santa Claus will help light the tree at 7 p.m.
The department is also sponsoring a pancake breakfast with Santa for 150 children on Dec. 17 from 8 to 10 a.m. at Lindberg Park, 5041 Rhoda Way.
Tickets for the breakfast are $3 and are sold in advance only, beginning Monday at local parks and playgrounds or at 4117 Overland Ave.
