Screaming at Sam

I am beyond anger in reading Sam Kinison’s irresponsible, befouled comments, spread of stereotypical misinformation and his espoused belief that homosexuals have caused AIDS.

This is not an honest, informed medical picture of the horror of this disease. And to ask, even for some misguided comic relief, for the name of “one heterosexual who has died of it,” besmirches the grief and honor of the numbing numbers of children, as well as adult heterosexuals and homosexuals represented in the tally of the dead.

Obviously, Kinison has never seen a presentation of the AIDS quilt. It isn’t funny, man!

I’ve called Warner Bros. records to tell them I do not intend to purchase their products as long as Kinison’s album is being sold.
