Honolulu Mayor Doing Well After Heart Surgery

HONOLULU — Mayor Frank F. Fasi underwent a heart bypass operation Saturday and was recovering satisfactorily, doctors said. Fasi, 68, could be back at work as soon as two weeks, although “it’s too soon to say just how long recovery will take,” said Dr. Robert Hong, Fasi’s cardiologist.
