Poly Dominates South Coast Team

The Times’ South Coast All-Star High School Football Team is dominated as usual by players from Polytechnic High School of Long Beach.
The Jackrabbits have 11 players on the team: offensive guards Michael Loyola and James Conlon, offensive tackle Charles Revis, tight end Kenny Powell, quarterback Michael Carter, wide receivers Troy Jones and Stanley Alexander, defensive lineman Earl Oliver, linebackers Edward Cabs and Mike Wall, and defensive back Jason Jones.
Dominguez High has four representatives: offensive tackle Nephi Aiono, running back Kenneth Barnes, linebacker Malcolm Hunt and defensive back Isaac Walker.
Jordan placed three players: running back Johnny Robinson, defensive lineman Chris Thomas and kicker Lester Falatea.
Also on the team are linebacker Steve Hayes and defensive back Brian Porter of Cerritos, center Craig Peterson of Millikan and defensive linemen Sal Larios of Paramount and Chris Sestito of Lakewood.
