Cleveland 97, Rancho Cordova 64--The Cavaliers easily advanced to the second round of the Amador Valley (Calif.) tournament with a rout of Rancho Cordova of Sacramento.

Cleveland (2-1), the two-time defending champion, faces Riordan of San Francisco tonight.

Notre Dame 64, Pius X 33--Brian Jones scored a game-high 26 points, and Notre Dame’s 2-2-1 zone press forced 15 turnovers in the second half of the semifinal game of the Loyola tournament.

Burbank 83, Murphy 57--Sophomore Kahyeed Murray scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs to their first win in the first round of the Crescenta Valley tournament.

Harvard 51, Oak Park 48--Geoff Given made a 60-foot 3-point shot with no time on the clock to lead Harvard in a quarterfinal game of the Faith Baptist tournament.
