Andrew P. Studdert, senior vice president at First Interstate Bank, has been named to manage corporate consumer marketing and operations, which includes data processing. These functions were formerly managed by Alex W. “Pete” Hart, who resigned recently to assume the chairmanship of MasterCard International.
First Interstate Bancard, which also reported to Hart, will now report to Edward M. Carson, president of First Interstate Bancorp. Nova Financial Services will also report to Carson.
First Interstate System, the company’s franchise operation, will now report to J. J. Pinola, chairman and chief executive of First Interstate Bancorp. It formerly reported to Hart.
