I would like through the courtesy of your newspaper to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all American organizations and citizens for their invaluable contributions to the relief efforts for the earthquake-stricken population in Soviet Armenia.
In this time of tragedy, for all Soviet people the pain of our Armenian brothers and sisters has become the pain of each and everyone of us. Hence, it is very encouraging to see the human dimension of the American people’s response, their active involvement to help those who survived this enormous disaster.
