UC Irvine to Face Loyola of Chicago

CHICAGO — UC Irvine (2-5), a 100-85 loser to 13th-ranked Nevada Las Vegas Thursday night in its Big West Conference opener, will meet Loyola of Chicago today in a nonconference game.
The Ramblers (2-3) are led by forward Gerald Hayward, who is averaging 22 points and 9 rebounds.
